Happy Monday lovelies!
I feel as though it has been such a long time since I have published a blog post. Life has been a tad busier than normal recently, and I have definitely struggled with managing and prioritising my time to get everything done. I need to get back into planning out my posts and scheduling time to actually post them!
Today I am rounding up a few recent empty products plus a mini review of each product. One of my habits with beauty products is finishing up every last drop (even if I don’t love the product). There is just something so satisfying about using up a product to completion and deciding whether or not you would purchase again.
My first recent empty is the Sol Janiero Brazilian Touch hand cream. This beauty was purchased from Mecca Maxima for $23. I use hand cream every single night before I go to bed plus any other time where my hands feel extremely dry, which is normally during Winter. First off, I LOVE the scent of this hand cream so much. The combination of the Brazil nut and coconut oil is so beautiful, and seriously addictive. Another pro is that I found that it sinks into the skin really well so that you aren’t left with greasy hands. I found it easy to get out every last drop of this due to the packaging, and I would definitely purchase again.
The next empty is the Neutrogena deep clean purifying micellar water, purchased for $8.99 from Chemist Warehouse. A pro for me is the price for what you get. At $8.99 400mL, this micellar water lasts a very long time even with every day use. I found that it removes makeup really well and left my skin feeling clean. One aspect I did not like about this product is the smell. It is very heavily fragranced, and I found that I could taste it before cleansing my face which I didn’t appreciate. I’m undecided if I would repurchase this.
Next up is the Make Up For Ever loose translucent powder, which I ordered from Adore Beauty for $61. Looking back, I would say that is fairly expensive for this powder however it did last me for a while. I liked the way this powder set my makeup but didn’t have any weird flash back or mattify my foundation too much. The thing I didn’t like about this was the delivery method of the power. It has a small hole with mesh covering it, and I found that you had to tap it out into the lid but it would often go everywhere. I would probably still repurchase this as it was a great power.
Last but not least, is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ cream in the colour light. This is my second tube of this CC cream, which I purchase for $61 from Sephora. This product is honestly my holy grail. It is the perfect every day foundation which has a medium coverage and the most perfect glow. I feel so confident wearing this foundation every day, and the shade is perfect for my skin. A tube of this lasts me at least 6 – 9 months. I have already purchased another tube. It’s a no-brainer!
I hope this gave you an insight into the above four products and helps you make your purchasing decision a little easier.
Let me know what your fave products are, or if you have tried any of the above products and what your thoughts were!
I hope that you have a wonderful week 🙂
